Series I

MIL-DTL-26482 Series I connectors offer high density contact arrangements in a minature cricular metal shell. The conector is enviomentally sealed and comes in two versions: a solder version and a hiogh performance crimp contact verson. Both conform to MIL-DTL-26482 and are intermateable, intermountable and interchangeable with all MIL-DTL-26482 conectors, wether solder or crimp style is used. Both styles use a quick disconnect bayonet locking for rapid positive mating and unmating of the connector. Available in various platings Cadmium olive drab, Zinc cobalt olive drab, Electoless nickle and Black , depending on manufacturer. These connectors are made by various manufactures such as Amphenol, ITT, Deutsch, Souriau, AB connectors, Array, Glenair, Commital,T EC, FKI, Thorn, Bendix, Series prefix's: 62GB, I62, 162GB, PT, PTSE,CPT, SP,SPSE, PTCE, SPCE, KPT, KPSE, 851, LPT, PW, IPT, IPTSE

A British standard was developed under BS9522F0017 (Solder) Pattern 105 Def-Stan 59-35 and BS9522N001 (Crimp) Pattern 603 Def-Stan 59-35 these connectors are prefixed with C20.

The MIL-DTL-26482 Series I connectors are also available in a double stub threaded coupling system, Solder and crimp contacts, Shell components are aluminum.
